A visionary Ghanaian leader driving change through politics, business, and purpose-led philanthropy.
I am Akosua Manu — a public servant, entrepreneur, advocate, and mother. I bring bold leadership, deep compassion, and tireless purpose to everything I do. Whether I’m developing policy, empowering young women, or driving economic opportunity, I lead with heart, strategy, and service.
I’ve had the honor of serving in government and representing the New Patriotic Party. From my early work at the Office of the First Lady to my candidacy for Parliament in Adentan, my political journey is rooted in service, strategy, and sincere commitment to the people of Ghana.
Through the Good Woman Foundation, I am committed to helping women and youth access the tools they need to thrive. Whether it’s healthcare, mentorship, business support, or leadership training, my mission is to nurture the whole person, empowering transformation in every aspect of life.
WIFI (Women in Investment Financing Initiative) empowers women to access capital, build resilient businesses, and lead confidently in the financial space. It’s my mission to help more women break through economic barriers.
Alongside my political work, I continue to grow as a fashion entrepreneur. That hands-on experience shapes my understanding of what it takes to build and sustain a business — and fuels my drive to support other entrepreneurs through practical mentorship and empowering policy.
