I am Akosua Asaa Manu, a proud Ghanaian and lifelong believer in purpose-driven leadership. I studied at Wesley Girls’ High School in Cape Coast and earned a BA in Economics from the University of Ghana, Legon. That academic training laid the foundation for everything I do.
After completing my national service, I began my professional journey at Ghana Commercial Bank, working in systems and back-office administration. In 2012, I ventured into entrepreneurship by founding a fashion and clothing business — a venture I managed before answering the call to public service.
In 2017, I was appointed Deputy Director of Communications at the Office of the First Lady, where I managed public engagements and helped advance advocacy initiatives in women’s health and social protection. Later, I was appointed Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the National Youth Authority, where I led finance, administration, and youth development strategy across Ghana.
My entry into frontline politics began in 2016, helping shape the NPP’s digital campaign strategy. In 2023, I was honored to win the NPP primaries for Adentan Constituency. I contested the 2024 general election as the parliamentary candidate for Adentan, where I ran a strong, passionate campaign.
Today, I continue to advocate for youth empowerment, women’s development, and entrepreneurial innovation. I am also a proud mother of two, and I bring every facet of my life — public, personal, and professional — into my mission to transform lives and serve with purpose.
