In a move aimed at enhancing security and boosting police mobility, the Adentan Constituency Parliamentary Candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Akosua Manu popularly known as Kozie has donated 10 Apsonic Jungle motor bikes to the Adenta Police Headquarters.
The official handover ceremony took place on Thursday at the police premises, where Kozie emphasized the importance of equipping law enforcement with the tools needed to ensure community safety. “This is my small way of giving back and supporting the men and women who risk their lives to protect us,” she said.
Receiving the donation, the District Police Commander Superintendent expressed gratitude, noting that the new motorbikes would greatly improve patrol efficiency, especially in hard-to-reach areas.
Residents of Adenta have welcomed the gesture, hoping it marks the beginning of improved response times and enhanced neighborhood security.
The donation comes at a time when local police have been calling for increased logistical support to better serve the growing municipality.
